Triclabendazole is an anti-parasitic drug that retards the growth of parasitic worms and other parasites from the body by inhibiting the multiplication or killing them without causing damage to the host. It can be used for both humans or livestock to eliminate liver fluke which is caused by eating contaminated wish. It is an active agent against both the immature and mature worms. Triclabendazole belongs to the chemical group of benzimidazole-2carbamate anthelmintics.
