Oxytetracycline HCL is an anti-biotic that is derived from Streptomyces rimosus which is a bacterium species. It is used to prevent the growth and kills the bacterias like yeast and mold. It has a chemical formula of C 22H24N2O9 HCl with a molecular weight of 496.89 gram per mol. It is mildly toxic in its nature and may result in stomach upsets and rarely allergic reactions. Oxytetracycline HCL is mainly used for the animals of the following species Beef Cattle, Calves, Chickens, non lactating dairy cattle, sheep and many more. It interacts with the bacteria to produce essential proteins and without these the infectant is unable for the further growth.
